Our damper dynamometer mounted Spring Rater offers the
convenience and efficiency of using the electronics, data acquisition,
and super structure of a Roehrig damper dyno to dynamically test open-
and closed-end springs. With the addition of REI hardware and a 10,000
lbs. maximum force hydraulic jack, the dynamometer transforms into a
Spring Rater. Actuation of the hydraulic jack is provided by a hand
pump. Optional electric or pneumatic pumps are available.
Our SPRING™ test and analysis software guides the user through test
creation and execution. After an initial user-defined compression,
SPRING™ software calculates hundreds of instantaneous spring rates
during a controlled release of the spring through the test and preload
ranges.
