The force channel could have a problem with voltage in, the signal out, or the load cell itself could be defective.

To check the power to the load cell use a DC volt meter to check between pins A and D in the cable connector at the load cell. voltage for a 2vs should be around 10 V all other dynos should be around 15 V.
