If the test icon is grayed out on the tool bar and pull down menu, this may be a indication that the key is missing or not recognized.

If this is a new software installation you MUST plug the key in when prompted during the install. If you installed the software with-out a key then you must uninstall then reinstall the software with the key.

All Roehrig Engineering software is key protected. Although you may load the software on any computer for data analysis, only the computer with the key, or dongle, installed will be able to operate the dyno. The key will be a green USB Device. Make certain that  the key is plugged in and that a red light is lit with-in the key. If the key is installed but not lit, close any Roehrig programs, unplug the key and plug it into another USB port. On some models the key may be a Parallel port (printer port) key. This is a white plastic box plugged into the printer port before the printer cable. Parallel port keys have no internal light.
